The tea is over and everyone I talked to said this was the best tea ever. Having the Flatwater Event Center donated to us for the tea was a special gift as where else could we find such a beautiful setting for such a wonderful cause. The next time you have a chance to eat at the Flatwater Grill please thank Dean Russell for his graciousness in letting us use the center. We also don't have a final count, but when all of the donations come in from those who said they wanted to help it looks like we could be topping $6,000 after expenses, the best we have ever done, and all of which is going into our building fund. For those of you who attended and so generously donated at the tea we thank you so much and for those of you who attended or couldn't attend but are continuing or raised your monthly commitment you are the ones who keep us going month to month.        Our Nurturing Parenting Program® began September 7th with one mom and baby then last week we added another mom and baby. It appears that we will be growing little by little which is definitely the best way. Everyone we saw was very excited about the program and planned to encourage the new moms they come in contact with to attend. But, like everything else, God is in charge and He is directing who should come, we will continue to wait and watch how He works.

       Our board is growing and so is Crossroads. We also have our first Shepherding Family ready to house a new mom and her baby. The tea brought us both the family and a new board member and we are also adding two other new board members who weren't able to attend the tea. Praise God! He is ever faithful.
